For the Right Reasons is rated 3.74 on Goodreads, which is higher than average for books written by Bachelor Nation cast members. These are our favorite high & low reviews:

  • 5 Star: “I really enjoyed reading about the behind the scenes of casting and production of the Bachelor franchise. I wished there was some resolution of what happened with his failed business (did he ever repay the debts?). His explanation of why he went on DWTS helped me understand a little bit better why this particular couple seems to be fame-hungry. If you’re a bachelor fan and a Christian you’d probably enjoy this book.”
  • 1 Star: “The story of him and Catherine no longer seems genuine when you read that he didn’t make his decision until the night before. Sean mentioned kicking off AshLee because she was addicted to fame,… chapters later he is doing DWTS days after him and Catherine get the ok to start living a normal life. Total hypocrite.”

  • 1 Star: “You won’t actually be getting an answer to the main question everyone is looking to have answered by this book, of which the title teases you with. So if that’s the main purpose of reading this book, don’t bother.—Update: this was originally a 3 star but I’ve lowered it to 1 because of how much of a freaking creep Colton ended up being. My best to Cassie, I hope she stays safe and happy.”
