ABC has given John Anderson from Gabby and Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette the occupation of “English Teacher,” but we don’t think that’s quite accurate. At least, not yet. According to an article about his baseball aspirations and the rarity of 7th-year seniors (!!) in the NCAA,
“As one would expect, seven years of college has allowed John the opportunity to pile up the academic credentials. He’s already completed his bachelor’s degree in business marketing. He’s almost finished with his master’s degree in education with a discipline in English. He’ll do his student teaching in the spring of 2022.”
Season 19 of The Bachelorette started filming on March 26, 2022, which would seem to conflict with that time frame.
From what we’ve seen so far, a more accurate assessment of John’s current occupation might be “aspiring model/actor,”
“I called a couple of modeling agencies, got a portfolio put together and did a couple of jobs for them this fall. I had a couple of offers this spring. That interests me. If I could get into modeling or acting that would be a blast.”
